The executive chef, also known as the executive chef or chef manager, is the person in charge of the kitchen.

These are some responsibilities of an executive chef: 
  1. Ordering Supplies: The Executive Chef must ensure that all supplies are ordered, stocked, and properly stored.  This includes all food items, dishes and utensils, cleaning products, cooking supplies, and any other item necessary for kitchen functioning.
  2. Recipe and Meal Creation. Probably the most exciting responsibility of an Executive Chef is the creation of recipes and meals.
The salary of a executive chef is around $85,000 annually.
