A zookeeper is an animal attendant employed in a zoo.[1]

The responsibilities of a zookeeper is listed here:
  1. Managing efficient care for all animals and assist in feeding and bathing all animals. 
  2. Monitoring food and water supplies for all domestic and exotic animals and provide ample supplies for same. 
  3. Monitoring animals and provide treatment to injuries and illness and prepare appropriate reports. 
  4. Maintaining and updating records for animal care. 
  5. Assisting veterinarians and manage birth of animals and ensure care for new born. 
  6. Administering efficient movement of all animals with various techniques. 
  7. Assisting visitors in all queries and maintain count of visitors coming to facility. 
  8. Operating and maintaining all animal care equipment such as cleaners and incubators. 
  9. Maintaining and ensuring neat and clean area for animals and evaluate appropriate water and food for all animals. 
  10. Maintaining records of all animals and observe well being of all. 
  11. Coordinating with director and curator and implement all special projects. 
  12. Training staff and volunteers and provide daily care to same. 
  13. Collaborating with zookeepers and develop new practices. 
  14. Developing nutrition plan for animals and ensure compliance to same. 
  15. Monitoring animals and ensure appropriate distance between animals and public.[2]
